Couple jumps to death with child from 12 storey building in Surat

SURAT: A 34-year-old businessman jumped to death along with his wife and son from top floor of a 12 storey building in Sarthana area of city on Wednesday. All three died on the spot. Financial crisis are mentioned as the reason for the extreme step in a suicide note recovered.
Vijay Vaghasiya, 34, his wife Rekha, 30, and son Vinay, 5, were found dead on ground of Majestica Tower on BRTS canal road in Sarthana. Their bodies were sent for post mortem by police. Registering a case of accidental death police started investigation. The deceased have jumped from passage of 12th floor since the terrace door was locked.
Vaghasiya was running a garment store in Varachha and recently closed it due to some unknown reason. He was doing seasonal business and earned enough to meet basic needs of family. Vaghasiya family is from Juna Vaghaniya village of Amreli.
Police are yet to question the family members in detail since they are busy with funeral. Meanwhile, police are investigating the case based on the details mentioned in the suicide note. Vaghasiya in a suicide note mentioned that he was facing financial crisis and was unable to pay debt. Vaghasiya also requested to support his younger brother and parents in the note.
