Surat: A 26-year-old man committed suicide in Udhna after returning home from Udhna police station in the city on Monday. Bhavesh Rathod had been picked up by police to help them locate residences of persons involved in an attack in the locality on Sunday night. A gang of a bootlegger Razaq was allegedly involved in the attack and Rathod had links with him. Rathod helped police to locate the houses of the accused but ended his life under mysterious circumstances. Police have registered an offence and begun investigation in the matter. The gang had attacked some residents in Udhna after an argument with them. tnn
