Surat: An infant girl was found abandoned in a BRTS bus in Pal area of the city on Sunday. Police was alerted by the bus driver who got the infant shifted to a hospital for treatment. A complaint was registered against an unidentified woman for abandoning the child at Adajan police station.
Police recovered a plastic bag with the child. The bag had name and address of the maternity home. Police are yet to find out who had left the child in the bus. "The investigation has started and the infant girl has been admitted to a hospital. The person who left the child in the bus will be identified soon," police said.
