Surat: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Aditya Nath continued his tirade against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi over the latter's temple visits.
Addressing a public meeting in the industrial town of Sarigam near Vapi on Tuesday, Aditya Nath said the Congress refused to even acknowledge the existence of Ram and Krishna. "Why are those people who don't believe in Ram and Krishna are now visiting temples," he said attacking Rahul over his series of temple visits.
Sarigam has a sizeable population of migrant industrial workers from Uttar Pradesh.
Stating that BJP will ensure prosperity of people, Aditya Nath said, "Goddess Laxmi is always seated on a lotus. We should stay with lotus (BJP) for good laxmi (money)."
