SURAT: A history-sheeter and his associates were booked at Kapodara police station in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old murder accused. The deceased was stabbed several times, which resulted in his instant death on Sunday.
Govind Rabari and his associates were booked for murdering Ravi alias Radhe Shankar Prajapati, a resident of L H Road. The complaint was lodged by victim's mother Kanta Prajapati. The deceased had gone to the office of the accused at Kapodara at around 7.45 pm. Govind had called him for a compromise on an old dispute, Kanta alleged in her complaint. However, police sources said there is a possibility of some financial dispute between the two. The accused and the deceased had intervened in disputed land deals in the past. tnn
