History-sheeter suffers bullet injury at Chowk

Surat: A history-sheeter suffered bullet injury in his palm in an incident of private firing and had to be admitted to a hospital here on Monday night. The injured is out of danger, police informed. Three rounds were fired by an unidentified assailant, of which one bullet hit the history-sheeter.
Mohammad Hussain alias Mammu Chand Mohammad Shaikh Hansoti was admitted to a hospital for treatment of bullet injury on his right palm. He was sitting at his regular hangout at Raja Ovara in Chowk Bazaar when the unidentified person came on a motorcycle and opened fire at him. The attacker fired one round in air, another on ground and third at Hansoti. The victim had a miraculous escape as the bullet caused only a wound in his palm. tnn
