PAAS ‘chintan shibir’ a sham, says Mangukia

Surat: Vijay Mangukia, a one-time associate of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) convener Hardik Patel, said the 'chintan shibir' of PAAS to be held in Botad on December 30 was a gathering to recruit agents for Congress.
Addressing reporters here on Friday, Mangukia claimed that more CDs of PAAS members would emerge in the coming days.
He alleged Ashok Jirawala, who contested on Congress ticket from Choriyasi assembly constituency, had reportedly promised to gift 25 motorcycles to PAAS youths. Mangukia said he was not aware if the Congress leader has kept his promise or not.
Mangukiya said, "Hardik Patel has taken Patidar community on a wrong path. PAAS leaders should not follow him because he believes in politics of violence and has also defamed Keshubhai Patel's name once. BJP is ready for a dialogue and not averse to the community getting reservation through constitutional means."
