Modi family’s heart beats for Patel

About two years ago, the world came crashing down for Bharat Modi's family living in Katargam. The machine parts manufacturer suffered a serious cardiac ailment and heart transplant was the only option to save him. Trader Ramesh Patel, who slipped into coma after a road accident, came as a life saviour for Modi.
In May 2016, the Patel family decided to donate his organs and his heart was transplanted in Modi. "Bharatbhai never had the habit of drinking tea. But after my husband's heart was transplanted in his body, he has regularly has tea. Ramesh loved tea and probably this habit has also been transplanted in Bharatbhai," quips Kashmira Patel, Ramesh's wife.
Modi said, "After visiting Rameshbhai's house for the first time, we have developed a special bonding. Kashmiraben and I share a brother-sister relationship. I only pray to God that this relationship lasts forever."
Ramesh's son Jay, a software engineer and Modi's wife Sangita said, "We are like extended families. If we don't meet or talk at length for few days, both families feel uncomfortable."
