Surtis flood PM’s Twitter handle with international airport demand

SURAT: Chorus is growing louder asking the central government to fulfill people's demand for an international airport in the city, especially after voters once again elected candidates of ruling party BJP on 12 urban seats and three rural seats of Surat.
Residents of the Diamond City flooded the official Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union minister of state for civil aviation urging them to expedite the process for an international airport in Surat.
'We Work For A Working Airport At Surat' (WWWAS) members flooded the Twitter handle of Union minister Jayant Sinha and Prime Minister Narendra Modi posting old pictures of their meetings and representations submitted for improved facilities at Surat airport and international air connectivity.
"We gave you votes helping you win 15 out of 16 seats in Surat. Please expedite the process of giving international airport in Surat. We trust on your promise Modiji and so please put this on high priority," tweeted Sandeep Shukla to Modi.
